Alliance Pipeline Appoints Terrance Kutryk as President and CEO
CALGARY, Aug. 16, 2012 /CNW/ - Alliance Pipeline Ltd. today announced that Terrance Kutryk will join the company as its new President and Chief Executive Officer on October 1, 2012, succeeding Murray Birch, who retired in July.

Mr. Kutryk most recently served as Senior Vice President, Midstream and Refined Products with Husky Oil Operations Limited where he was responsible for Husky's global commodity marketing, logistics and trading, storage, refining and upgrading business, pipelines, cogeneration, retail and wholesale operations, asphalt marketing, product supply and distribution, and new ventures. Mr. Kutryk is Chairman of the Board for Sultran Ltd. and Pacific Coast Terminals Company Ltd. He holds Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Calgary, and a certificate in Petroleum Land Management (CPLM) from Mount Royal University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds designations from the Investment Dealers Association of Canada.
About the Alliance Pipeline system:
The Alliance Pipeline system consists of an approximately 2,311-mile integrated Canadian and U.S. high-pressure natural gas transmission pipeline system, delivering rich natural gas from the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and the Williston Basin to the Chicago market hub. The United States portion of the system is owned and operated by Alliance Pipeline L.P. and consists of approximately 900 miles of mainline and related infrastructure. The system has been in commercial service since December 2000 and delivers, on average, about 1.6 billion standard cubic feet (or 45.3 million standard cubic metres) of natural gas per day.
