Allstream continues to win new business for expanded IP fibre network

TORONTO, July 29 /CNW/ - The targeted expansion of Allstream's national IP fibre network is continuing to bring solid returns with 46 new contracts won in the second quarter. These wins are continuing to add sales momentum to Allstream's fibre expansion program and leverage the popularity of IP-based products in the Canadian business marketplace.

Customers who will benefit from Allstream's national IP fibre network thanks to these wins include Moblicity, XO Communications, Frontline Technologies, Design Group Staffing Inc. At the end of the second quarter Allstream has earned 54 new IP contracts through this initiative, including multiple sales in the same connected buildings as well as a further 35 wins in Allstream's collocation footprint.
