Allstream receives contract extension with Primus Canada

Allstream to provide suite of services until end of 2011

TORONTO, April 29 /CNW/ - Allstream announced today the extension of a $34 million wholesale agreement with Primus Telecommunications Canada Inc. ("Primus Canada"). The contract includes a full suite of voice and data connectivity services that include local access to voice services, toll free services, Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), private lines, Switched Ethernet and Wavelength Solutions.

The wholesale agreement between Primus Canada and Allstream began in 2001 and will now extend until the end of 2011 and further demonstrates the long standing relationship between the two businesses.

Primus Canada offers the widest selection of consumer and business telecommunications services available nationwide and serves over 1 million customers. Their services include Long Distance & Local Phone Service, TalkBroadband (VoIP), Wireless service, and Internet services (High Speed DSL & Dial-up).
