Allstream wins three-year contract with NAV CANADA to provide business
communication solutions

TORONTO, June 15 /CNW/ - Allstream, Canada's all-business communications provider, today announced a renewed contract with NAV CANADA that will see Allstream provide business communication solutions to Canada's civil air navigation services provider for the next three years, with an option to renew for an additional three years.

As a customer of over ten years, NAV CANADA wanted to continue its partnership with Allstream to meet its need for innovative communications solutions enhancing their business while keeping safety in the forefront by acquiring a proven service for their telecom needs." said Dean Prevost, President, Allstream. The contract includes the enhancement of business processes supporting the application of communication services as well as four IP data networks supporting both administration and operations. In addition, this contract will allow NAV CANADA to take full advantage of the latest in WAN technology, such as managed multi protocol label switching. This contract will also allow MTS to continue to support NAV CANADA's voice services in Manitoba including: toll free, long distance and Centrex.
