Alouettes Players Will Be Kicking Off the Winter Musical Fireworks on
Saturday, on the Quays of the Old Port!
MONTREAL, Dec. 2 /CNW Telbec/ - This Saturday, December 4, the Quays of the Old Port are holding a special "pre-game" show to mark the first TELUS Fireworks on Ice musical fireworks show of the winter. 2010 Grey Cup champions # 82, wide receiver Danny Desriveaux, and # 58, centre Luc Brodeur-Jourdain, along with their inseparable mascot Touché, will be on hand to greet fans from 6 to 8 p.m. Bring your cameras and autograph books! The fireworks, launched from the Jacques Cartier Quay, will follow immediately afterward, starting at 8 p.m.
For this fifth edition, TELUS Fireworks on Ice will be offering a series of six musical fireworks shows, every weekend from December 4 to January 8, on Saturday, December 4, 11, 18 and 25 and January 8 at 8 p.m., and Friday, December 31 at midnight. Created and inspired by six world-class Quebec fireworks firms, each show will feature different music, shapes and colours!
Winter will officially arrive on the Quays of the Old Port this Saturday, when the skating rink opens at 10 a.m. The Quays rink, traditionally the first to open in Montréal, will be in operation every day until March!
