Alterra Power Announces Signing of Power Purchase Agreement with Icelandic Manufacturer
VANCOUVER, Oct. 26, 2015 /CNW/ - Alterra Power Corp. (TSX: AXY) announces that its Icelandic subsidiary, HS Orka hf., has signed a power purchase agreement with Thorsil ehf., which is planning to construct and operate a silicon metal plant in Helguvík, Iceland. Under the contract, HS Orka would supply up to 32 MW of the plant's power needs. The delivery of the power from HS Orka is subject to several conditions on behalf of both parties.
