AME BC's 2009 E.A. Scholz Award Recipients

VANCOUVER , Jan. 21 /CNW/ - Capstone Mining Corp. (CS: TSX) is pleased to announce that Stephen Quin , President and COO and Bruce McLeod, Director of Capstone proudly accepted the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia's (AME BC) 2009 E.A. Scholz Award at the AME BC Awards Dinner on January 20th, 2010 , in recognition of Capstone's Minto Mine located in the Yukon.

The E.A. Scholz Award is presented to an individual or group of individuals who have demonstrated excellence in mine development in British Columbia and/or the Yukon. The award is presented annually by the Board of Directors of AME BC to recognize the ability to see opportunities and turn them into operating mines through vision, leadership, shrewd business skills and persistence.
