TORONTO , Feb. 3 /CNW/ - Toronto's Cocktail Cooking School is now in session. AME Restaurant takes the traditional idea of a cooking class and the non-traditional curriculum of cocktails - all stylishly taught in the beautiful atmosphere of AME by award winning mixologists. The idea behind the Cocktail Cooking School is to make mixology and cocktail philosophy accessible much like a cooking class would do - creating a foolproof recipe for social, creative and entertaining fun! It's perfect for dates, group functions, staff team building, and learning how to entertain at home. Classes take place every Monday through Wednesday beginning at 6pm . Strain, sip and savour as you learn the tricks of the AME trade.

THE RECIPE: AME's Cocktail Philosophy

AME offers an innovative and comprehensive cocktail menu, as well as an extensive scotch and sake list. Our mixologists approach our cocktails with the same flair and commitment that our kitchen does with it's cuisine; we squeeze our own juices, make our own bitters and infusions, and use seasonal ingredients to create delicious drinks and unpredictable robust flavour combinations. Savour fresh fruit combined with specialty spirits or enjoy unique twists on traditional classics. Our adventurous bar program leaves a wonderful taste in your mouth.

    
    THE INGREDIENTS: What goes into every Cocktail Cooking School

    -   Attendees will enjoy an evening of delicious education with the
        masters of mixology at the AME Cocktail Cooking School.
    -   Price is $50/per person. Groups are up to ten people at any given
        time
    -   Expert mixologists take student through making their own cocktails
        and will demonstrate a trick or two as well. It's interactive and
        entertaining all at once.
    -   Attendees get to drink their own cocktails.

AME (which means "rain" in Japanese) features a modern Japanese menu and is the Japanese relaunch of "rain". An extensive sushi & sashimi menu as well as a custom built Robata grill allows diners the choice of enjoying a casual dinner or a multi course dining experience.
