Cardmembers can redeem for flights on any airline and travel any day of the year at fixed point amounts
TORONTO, Dec. 1, 2016 /CNW/ - American Express Canada today announces the new Fixed Points Travel Program, offering Cardmembers ultimate flexibility and choice. The new program is available to eligible Canadian Cardmembers enrolled in the Membership Rewards program, giving them the ability to book flights within Canada or to anywhere in the world, on any airline, for fixed point amounts. Additionally, Cardmembers have the option to choose from Economy or Business Class flights, last minute bookings right up to a day before departure, and can use their points to pay for taxes, fees and other surcharges.
"The beauty of this program, is that it truly enables our Cardmembers to book flights with points, when they want and where they want – it's simple and straightforward. The full cost of travel can be covered with points, with any airline and without advanced booking requirements," says Joe Ryan, Director of Proprietary Rewards and Benefits, American Express Canada. "This new option makes our best in class Membership Rewards program even better. Cardmembers can redeem today, travel tomorrow, any day of the year."
Cardmembers can redeem their Membership Rewards® points for flights in just 3 easy steps:
