AMI-audio's Live from Studio 5 joins AMI-tv's morning lineup
TORONTO, Oct. 2, 2018 /CNW/ - Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) is excited to announce that AMI-audio's morning show Live from Studio 5 has joined AMI-tv's morning lineup.
Airing weekdays at 9 a.m. Eastern, Live from Studio 5—hosted by Mike Ross and Joeita Gupta—joins a new platform as television cameras capture the action as it happens in the studio from AMI's Toronto headquarters.
"I'm ecstatic that Live from Studio 5 has joined the AMI-tv platform," says Andy Frank, Manager of AMI-audio. "I'm confident our viewers will embrace Mike, Joeita, our contributors and community reporters the way that our listeners have."
Live from Studio 5 offers the latest national and community news and information from coast to coast and a daily look at technology, health and current affairs. Nothing is off the table as Mike and Joeita discuss breaking news and their opinions regarding them with a stable of contributors. Additionally, community reporters from across the country join Mike and Joeita with local events in the Atlantic, Central, West and Pacific regions.
About the Live from Studio 5 hosts
Mike Ross is a 20-plus year veteran of Canadian radio broadcasting. If Mike's voice sounds familiar to you, it might be because he's the Toronto Maple Leafs' PA announcer. He also loves baseball, cooking and travelling.
Joeita Gupta got her start in broadcasting at CKLN 88.1FM, a community radio station in Toronto, where she hosted a weekly feminist radio show. Being partially sighted, Joeita has always enjoyed listening to the radio and has a true knack for sharing her interest in social justice and inclusion for persons with disabilities on air.
