TORONTO, June 1, 2016 /CNW/ - Forty-one Awards of Excellence were presented at the 2016 Awards Gala, An Evening of Excellence, during the final evening of the World Public Relations Forum in Toronto, ON. Gold, silver and bronze award winners were unveiled during the event. The 2016 Major Award recipients were announced over the course of the three-day Forum. CPRS National congratulations all Awards of Excellence winners and CPRS Major Awards recipients for their demonstration of public relations and communications excellence.
"We're thrilled to accept this prestigious, national award and proud to be recognized along with so many esteemed practitioners and peers," said Matt Robinson, Associate Director of Communications and Intergovernmental Affairs at Niagara Region. "Public relations played a vital role in achieving the Provincial commitment of daily GO Train service to Niagara, which also would not have been possible without the hard work of everyone on our cross-disciplinary team. This award truly helps to illustrate the value of strategic public relations to the organization."
