MONTREAL, Jan. 20, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The Montreal International Auto Show's (MIAS) Charity Preview evening, presented by the Montreal Automobile Dealers Corporation and the Palais des congrès de Montréal was held on January 15, 2015. A total of $636,645 was donated to benefit six (6) worthy causes within the Greater Montreal's medical community: Fondation du CHUM, Pierre-Boucher Hospital Foundation, Montreal Heart Institute Foundation, Montréal Sacré-Coeur Hospital Foundation, Santa Cabrini Foundation and St. Mary's Hospital Foundation.
More than $4,7 million donated since 2005
Since its premiere back in 2005, the event has raised more than $4,7 million for hospital foundations of the Greater Montreal area's health care community. For the 11th consecutive year, the Auto industry is proud to offer its support to six (6) foundations, all working towards a common goal: preserving your health.
A sparkling event!
The 2015 Charity Preview, whose spokesperson was well-known comedian Rémi-Pierre Paquin, was a breaking success! The 4,600 attendees feasted their eyes on the beautiful cars before the opening to the public. Attendees met and mingled with some of the auto industry's biggest names along with well-known personalities from Quebec's political, artistic and sport communities. The event was enjoyed by all, taking place in a relaxed atmosphere and featuring amazing prizes, entertaining music, a delicious buffet dinner and a fine selection of wines.
Stéphane Guilbault, the 2015 Montreal International Auto Show President, was very pleased with the turn out and thanked all guests for their presence. "I am happy and very proud of the generosity of our attendees year after year. The Greater Montreal Auto Industry should be proud of tonight's donation", expressed Guilbault during the evening.
