THORNHILL, ON, Sept. 17 /CNW/ - Steeles Avenue. For the last seven years, Steeles Avenue has made CAA's Top 20 Worst Roads list. For four years, Steeles Avenue topped that list. This year, that same stretch of road is the front-runner for the Best Road in Ontario.
"Once again Steeles Avenue has been voted number one, but this year the road's bad reputation has been kicked to the curb," said Faye Lyons, Government Relations Specialist, CAA South Central Ontario. "Meanwhile, we are happy to report that seven of the Top 20 Best Roads are in Toronto," added Lyons.
So far, the Top 20 Best Roads in Ontario are:

- Dufferin Street (Vaughan)
- Anne Street (Barrie)
- Hwy 407 (Toronto)
- King Street (Hamilton)
- Red Hill Expressway (Hamilton)
- Hwy 417 (Ottawa)
- Hwy 6 (Hamilton)
- Carmen's Way (Sault Ste Marie)
- Falconbridge Road (Sudbury)
- Harmony Road (Oshawa)
- Hwy 401 (Toronto)
- Islington Ave (Toronto)
- Eglinton Avenue (Toronto)
- Hwy 7 (Vaughan)
- Hwy 427 (Toronto)
- Hwy 69 (Sudbury)
- Wellington Street (Sault Ste Marie)
- Bathurst Street (Newmarket)
