TORONTO, March 12, 2012 /CNW/ - Who has the best seat in the house? The public has spoken and the winner of Canadian retailer Urban Barn's Custom Chairity Competition is Interior Designer Maria Killam from Vancouver, BC. Maria along with four other Canadian Interior Design bloggers participated in a challenge to create their own Urban Barn custom chair. Canadians, in turn, voted on their favourite design for a chance to win their own custom Urban Barn chair (valued at approximately $1,200) or one of five $100 Urban Barn gift cards.
In addition, starting today and running through March 19, 2012, the public will have the chance to bid to purchase their favourite Custom Chairity Competition chair at chairity.urbanbarn.com. Each will be auctioned off with full proceeds going to the charity of each designer's choice (World Vision, Country Cat Rescue, The Arthritis Society, the Neonatal ICU at Rockyview General Hospital, Jays Care Foundation).
