MONTREAL, April 18, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The winners of the C2-MTL contest launched in February by the Claudine and Stephen Bronfman Family Foundation have been announced. The 25 emerging entrepreneurs will get to attend C2-MTL, the new international business conference to be held in Montreal from May 22 to 25, 2012.
The 25 winners, selected by an expert jury under the aegis of the Foundation, are distinguished by their entrepreneurial spirit and innovative business models. They are engaged in a wide range of industries: urban agriculture, biotechnology, molecular cooking, educational services and products, toy-making, marketing, web applications and green technology.
The 25 Quebec entrepreneurs, chosen for their dynamism and innovative ideas, will have an opportunity to enjoy a unique experience at C2-MTL, to test their ideas, to network with movers and shakers, and to meet established leaders from the business and creative communities.
"We were excited to receive more than 300 high-calibre entries," said Claudine Blondin Bronfman, Co-Chair of the Foundation. "The selected businesses are models of vitality and innovation in their respective lines. The broad spectrum of products and services they provide show that the spirit of enterprise is alive and well in Québec and we have no lack of talent. The Foundation is pleased to offer them a chance to experience C2-MTL."
Unique and tailor-made experience for emerging entrepreneurs
