ANGOSS RELEASES KNOWLEDGE SEEKER VERSION 7.5
TORONTO, Nov. 22 /CNW/ - Angoss Software Corporation (TSX-V: ANC), a leading provider of software and solutions in data, predictive analytics, and marketing, today announced the Version 7.5 release of its KnowledgeSEEKER® predictive analytics software suite which includes the KnowledgeSEEKER®, KnowledgeSTUDIO®, StrategyBUILDER™ and KnowledgeSERVER® applications. KnowledgeSEEKER® 7.5 continues to build on Angoss' breadth of functionality and focus on delivering advanced analytics for mainstream business audiences. Traditional data mining systems remain overly complex and costly to install, manage and train users to operate. Angoss continues to open up usability and drive down technology licensing, training and deployment support costs.
Numerous usability enhancements in this release have been generated from the Angoss user community, such as:
- Usability for Analysts. Several GUI enhancements make it even easier for business analysts to get up and running with advanced data mining capabilities, while minimizing training and learning curve costs. Angoss remains among the fastest predictive analytics systems for analysts to learn and use, without the significant time and cost investment for learning complex and costly statistical programming languages and tools.
- Usability for IT Administrators. The Angoss server can be installed and deployed rapidly to support business requirements. With an expanding footprint of concurrent usage server deployments, enhanced administration utilities are provided for IT administrators to manage users and predictive analytics processes.
- Usability for Scorecard Design. Streamlined workflows are provided enabling faster scorecard development and validation to support the business in all these areas. This is especially valuable for power users who are looking to deploy predictive scorecards more broadly (similar to balanced scorecard concepts) to optimize business performance in marketing, sales and other domains.
- Usability for Strategy Optimization. Enhancements to the StrategyBUILDER™ strategy optimization toolkit permits enhanced design and deployment options to decision execution environments such as Experian SMG 3.
This release also introduces Teradata in-place data mining - an enhancement of Angoss in-database analytics for Teradata versions 12 and 13 - and continued support for Netezza environments. Plus wider support for client and partner IT platforms including support for Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit configurations.
"In a business environment of exploding data volumes and compressed timelines Angoss provides the best solution for business, analytics and IT teams to work collaboratively, using agile analytics methodologies to get to analytics results faster, and get these results deployed to and actionable for the business," commented Angoss President Eric Apps. "As always this release has been driven primarily by our user community feedback and we believe users will find these enhancements add significant value to their businesses."
