Annual Oil Sands Trade Show and Conference to be Hosted in Edmonton

World's Largest Oil Sands Event Explores Optimal Outcomes for Industry

CALGARY , Sept. 21 /CNW/ - The renowned Oil Sands Trade Show & Conference returns to Northlands Agricom in Edmonton on September 22 and 23, with a focused exhibition and expanded two-day Conference. Topics of discussion will put the spotlight on solutions for mining, plant efficiencies and cost reductions, in situ, regulation and environmental matters.

Show organizers chose 'Optimal Outcomes' as the show theme in response to comments and requests from industry players for an increased focus on solutions and tactics for succeeding in an unstable economy, in addition to keeping an eye on environmental concerns.

Bringing together upwards of 500 exhibiting companies, this year's Oil Sands Trade Show & Conference is a more focused event that includes a Fort McMurray mine site tour, full-day educational courses, Oil Sands Grand Reception, 7th Annual "Sand Trapped" Golf Tournament and environmental and educational pavilions.

The Oil Sands Trade Show & Conference is the largest oil sands industry event in the world. It is renowned for its first-class presentations of the most modern technology, including SAGD, project updates and its exhibition of oil sands-related equipment.
