The Young Leaders Circle is proud to donate 80 000$ to the Montreal Children Foundation
MONTREAL, March 3, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - On February 22nd, the Young Leaders Circle (YLC) of the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation held their third edition Dolce, a fabulous fundraising event that took place at the Loft Hotel. The evening raised $80,000 to help the tens of thousands of sick children and their families who visit The Children's each year.
"This amount will go to providing the children at the hospital and their families with the best care possible," says Benoit Lussier, member of the Young Leaders Circle and president of the event. The funds will help to advance pediatric medical education and allow the hospital to acquire much-needed state-of-the-art equipment for the new hospital. "We are proud to participate in creating an environment that is both unique and specially adapted to the needs of the hospital's patients and their families, he says."
With a theme celebrating sweets and desserts, Dolce 2014 is the sixth charity event organized by the YLC, a group of young Montreal professionals.
An event not to be missed!
Dolce's organizing committee members are proud to announce that, for the third year in a row, the event was a smashing success: 400 guests danced the night away in support of a great cause. "Given that the mission of the YLC is to raise as much money as possible to support the treatment of sick children, this is wonderful news," says Lussier. "It demonstrates that young Quebecers have a strong sense of philanthropy and are willing to work together to accomplish great things."
Dolce could not have been possible without the help and collaboration of a series of dedicated sponsors and partners, along with generous individuals and businesses. The YLC would like to thank all those who contributed to Dolce 2014, making it one of the marquee events of the year!
