Test and Measurement Instruments Company Deploys Cloud Service to Improve Inventory and Supply Management

OTTAWA, Aug. 20, 2014 /CNW/ - Kinaxis®, provider of RapidResponse®, delivering cloud-based SCM and S&OP applications, today announced that Anritsu Company, a global leader in communications test and measurement solutions, has deployed Kinaxis RapidResponse to drive better integration and alignment across the demand, supply and inventory functions of Anritsu's business, allowing the company to better serve its customers.

With North American supply chain operations headquartered in Morgan Hill, California, Anritsu provides products and services critical to the development, manufacturing, and maintenance of a range of wireline and wireless communications systems. Anritsu's products are highly configurable and its customers require short delivery times on these complex instruments and precision components. The company wanted to optimize its customer responsiveness by having the most accurate view of inventory levels in-house and at contract manufacturers as possible. The Anritsu team realized an investment in technology was required to attain the necessary visibility and flexibility. Now, with RapidResponse, Anritsu can perform "what if" scenarios and rapidly drill down to the part level at its contract manufacturers, which will greatly improve supply chain visibility and responsiveness to customers.
