Appointment of Ms. Anna Mao to the Board of Directors

TORONTO , Oct. 27 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors of ENPAR Technologies Inc. (ENPAR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Anna Mao to the Board. Ms. Mao has 17 years of experience in operations, marketing and finance in Asia and will advise the board as ENPAR seeks to develop business opportunities in that part of the world.

Ms. Mao is an Electronics Engineering graduate of the Beijing Institute of Technology University, and holds a Professional Engineer designation in China and a Masters in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey Business School of Western Ontario University.

Ms. Mao is an entrepreneur and creative leader who has co-founded and sold two businesses dealing with industrial electronic and software application products in China , and achieving over one hundred million yuan in revenue.

Currently, she is president and founder of a Hong Kong-based investment consultant firm focusing on mining, commercial real estate, and environment protection and alternative energy technologies. She is a Canadian citizen living in Beijing .

Mr. Anthony Cosentino has agreed to step down as a Director to accommodate this new appointment. The Board of Directors wishes to thank Mr. Cosentino for his past service as director of the Company.

The Company announces that it has agreed to grant a total of 200,000 options to a director and a consultant. The options are exercisable at a price of $0.20 for a period of up to five years. The grants are subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
