Three-year mandate for Ms. Michèle Desjardins
OTTAWA, June 24, 2015 /CNW/ - The Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport, today announced the appointment of Ms. Michèle Desjardins of Montreal to the board of directors of Canada Post Corporation for a term of three years.
Ms. Desjardins founded Koby Consulting inc. in 1998, and has been its president since. She is on the boards of directors of ADF Group, Polycello, Caisse de dépot et de placement du Québec, and Cinémania. Over the past six years, she was on the boards of Société du Palais des Congrès de Montréal, Mount Sinai Hospital and its foundation, and Quebecor World Inc.
Ms. Desjardins holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Laval University. She has been granted a Chartered Administrator (Adm. A) title by the Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec (OAAQ), Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designations by the OAAQ and by the Institute of Management Consultants USA, a Certified Director designation (ICD.D) by the Institute of Corporate Directors, and a fellow status by the Family Firm Institute.
