Appraisal Institute of Canada welcomes the Appraisal Institute for joint International Valuation Conference in 2017 Français
OTTAWA, June 13, 2016 /CNW/ - The Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) and its American counterpart, the Appraisal Institute (AI), are proud to announce a joint conference that will be held in Ottawa, Ontario and host hundreds of AIC and AI members as well as valuation partners. The 2017 International Valuation Conference will be one of the largest networking and professional development opportunities within the valuation industry.
The three-and-a-half-day event, June 8-11, 2017 will feature noteworthy speakers, exceptional educational sessions, exhibits of cutting-edge valuation products and services, an awards reception, a gala dinner, networking with international peers and opportunities for exploring Canada's capital city.

The Appraisal Institute of Canada has hosted its Annual Conference for more than four decades. Previous events have been held in Calgary, Halifax and Kelowna, among others, attracting nearly 400 attendees annually and featuring keynote speakers such as current host of Canada's Amazing Race, Jon Montgomery, former Canadian Football League Commissioner Mark Cohon and David Chilton from CBC's Dragon's Den. The 2016 event was recently held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, June 8-11.
The Appraisal Institute has hosted the AI Annual Conference in its current form since 2011. It has held the event in Las Vegas; San Diego; Indianapolis; Austin, Texas; and Dallas, attracting nearly 500 attendees per conference and featuring renowned keynote speakers such as former astronaut Gene Cernan, the last man to walk on the moon, and Vietnam-era prisoner of war Charles Plumb. The 2016 conference will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, July 25-27.
