Argent Energy Trust Reports Voting Results of Election of Directors

CALGARY, May 21, 2014 /CNW/ - Argent Energy Trust ("Argent" or the "Trust") (TSX: AET.UN) today announced that at its annual meeting of unitholders held on May 20, 2014, each of the following five nominees were elected as directors of Argent Energy Ltd., the administrator of the Trust, to serve until the next annual meeting of unitholders or until their successors are duly elected or appointed. The detailed results of the vote are set out below.

On May 20, 2014, Messrs. Eric Tremblay and Scott Butler tendered their resignations from the board of directors of Argent Energy Ltd. and withdrew their names as nominees standing for re-election to the board of directors of Argent Energy Ltd.  The Board would like thank them for their contributions to the formation of the Trust and their efforts thereafter.
