OTTAWA, April 10, 2017 /CNW/ - Argyle Public Relationships and TACT Intelligence-conseil, two of Canada's largest independent communications firms, announce today the creation of Argyle TACT Public Affairs, a new firm that will deliver a full complement of public affairs services in the national capital region.
Argyle TACT's Ottawa team is led by two local veterans of public affairs and corporate communications: David Gourlay, General Manager and VP Public Affairs; Yan Plante, VP Development and Strategy; and they are supported by Leily Shafaee, Senior Consultant.
Argyle TACT will offer senior-level expertise in Ottawa, backed by the two firms' teams in other cities, which include more than 90 communications professionals across Canada. The core business of Argyle TACT will be public affairs, including government relations, corporate communications, digital advocacy, media relations and more.
Argyle and TACT have developed a strong business relationship while completing mandates across the country for major Canadian and global clients. Argyle TACT Public Affairs is the next step in this successful collaboration.
Argyle opened its Ottawa office in December 2014, and this new partnership will enhance services to clients even further, while supporting new business within the local Ottawa market. It will also add capacity for Argyle and TACT to support their own client government-relations mandates. Both firms' activities, in their respective offices in other Canadian cities, will continue as normal.
