2010 Top 100 Awards Summit & Gala Celebrates the Remarkable Achievements of Canadian Female Leaders
TORONTO, Nov. 17 /CNW/ - Women's Executive Network today announced that Arianna Huffington, Founder of The Huffington Post, one of the most widely read news and blog sites, will be the Awards Gala Keynote for Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards Summit & Gala on November 29th in Toronto at the Allstream Centre. The event celebrates and honours the 2010 Top 100 Award Winners and 11 outstanding leaders who will be inducted into the Top 100 Hall of Fame.
Huffington has been recognized as a powerful leader around the world. In 2006, she was added to TIME list of the world's 100 most influential people. In 2009, she was named one of the most influential women in media by Forbes magazine and one of the 50 people who shaped the decade by the Financial Times. The theme of this year's Top 100 Awards & Summit is "The Power of Collaboration and Connectivity".
