TORONTO, Oct. 2, 2018 /CNW/ - In August 2018, an investigation was conducted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for importation of Fentanyl and a suspect, Michael Christopher Wozney was identified.
On August 9, 2018, Toronto Airport Detachment RCMP attempted to arrest Wozney but he fled in his vehicle in a reckless manner. Due to public safety concerns the RCMP discontinued the enforcement action and as a result, Wozney escaped apprehension.
A Canada wide arrest warrant has been issued for Wozney. He is facing several charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Criminal Code of Canada.
Wozney is 33 years old and described as approximately 5'6 tall and 196 pounds and with a heavier build. He has short blonde hair and blue eyes. He drives a 2012 white Porsche SUV, Ontario licence plate CFFC080. It is believed that Wozney is still in the Greater Toronto Area.
