arrive alive DRIVE SOBER(R) scores top marks at International Conference
TORONTO, Sept. 3 /CNW/ - After presenting three papers at the International Conference on Alcohol Drugs and Traffic Safety (ICADTS) in Oslo Norway, arrive alive DRIVE SOBER staff and volunteers are ready to get back to work keeping roads safe here in Ontario. Presentations were made on "Social Media and its Impact on Introducing Legislation Affecting Young Drivers", "Successful Implementation of New Legislation" and "Road Stories for Young Drivers".
"It's been a busy year with the creation of an Arrive Alive App, new messaging and Choose Your Ride images, and new PSAs" said Executive Director Anne Leonard. "We are especially grateful to our Marketing Committee who oversees organization of the campaign, and to the media who have supported the campaign for decades and help us educate the public". Arrive alive DRIVE SOBER staff, volunteers and summer students attended four conferences this summer.
Media can support the arrive alive campaign by using arrive alive DRIVE SOBER PSAs found on the arrive alive DRIVE SOBER website (please contact us if you would like to adapt a message for local use).
