ARThritis Soirée 2017 Tickets Now Available in Support of Critically Needed Arthritis Research
VANCOUVER, Jan. 9, 2017 /CNW/ - Tickets to the fifth annual ARThritis Soirée at The Roof, Hotel Vancouver are now available at www.arthritissoiree.ca with early bird pricing until April 18, 2017. Presented by City Square Shopping Centre, the annual signature event takes place on Thursday, May 18th 2017 at 7:00 pm and brings together business and community leaders, philanthropists, doctors, scientists, health care professionals and those who share a passion and appreciation of art and a desire to support arthritis research.
Research has shown that art is therapeutic and adds to one's wellbeing, and is therefore a great element in managing chronic disease on a holistic level. Affecting one in six of us and with more than 100 different forms, arthritis is now Canada's most costly, chronic disease. The need to support arthritis research has never been greater. Each year, the ARThritis Soirée features a different art form and this year's music performance will be most unique.
Guests will be treated to a Canadian-debut performance by world-renowned violinist Jenny Bae, accompanied by members of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Jenny Bae has dazzled international crowds, performing solo and with artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Eric Clapton, Elton John and Andrea Bocelli. The Julliard trained Bae has captivated audiences around the world, most notably the British Royal Family, Crown Princess of Saudi Arabia, George Clooney and Mikhail Gorbachev. The ARThritis Soirée promises something for everyone, including fabulous hors d'oeuvres, champagne, and wine coupled with an amazing raffle, and tempting live and silent auctions.
"The suffering from arthritis needs to end. We can only get there through arthritis research. Please join me in supporting the incredibly important work of Arthritis Research Canada" - Jenny Bae
