Foundation: Celebrate the New Year with the 1-1-11 run!

MONTREAL, Dec. 29 /CNW Telbec/ - Start the year off right! Each New Year we resolve to lead healthier, more active lifestyles. This year, on the first day of 2011, join an enthusiastic group of runners and walkers and get your New Year's resolution off on the right foot while supporting The Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation! This event is a part of the One million kilometres, one million dollars (1millionkm.com) campaign which promotes healthy living through exercise, all across Quebec.

If you wish to kick off the year with a great start - join the group for a 1km, 5km or 11km (in honour of the year 2011), walk or run. To register, please contact Heather Birenbaum at [email protected]. Registrations will also be accepted on-site on January 1.

When:	January 1, 2011 at 11:00 am (all distances)
Where:	Departure from Cycle Technique, at 788 Atwater. Changing rooms are available.
Cost:	This is a free event for the whole family - although a symbolic donation of $11.11 to The Children's would be much appreciated!
