ASC alleges Wayne Loderick Bennett and Environmental Sentry Services Inc. breached Alberta securities laws
CALGARY, Sept. 9, 2016 /CNW/ - Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) staff have issued a Notice of Hearing alleging that Wayne Loderick Bennett and Environmental Sentry Services Inc. (ESSI) raised millions of dollars without a prospectus for ESSI.
Bennett and ESSI are also facing allegations that they made misleading or untrue statements to investors regarding patents that were allegedly owned or pending for ESSI products. Staff also allege that Bennett and ESSI made prohibited statements to investors that securities of ESSI would be listed on an exchange.
These allegations have not been proven.
An appearance to set a date for a hearing will be held on November 16, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in the ASC Hearing Room on the 5th floor, 250 – 5 Street S.W., Calgary, Alberta.
