ASC cease trades Skymark Research, Momentum Consultants, Tradeshow Marketing
Company and Pacific Blue Energy
CALGARY, Aug. 24 /CNW/ - The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) has issued an Interim Cease Trade Order against:
- Calgary-based Skymark Media Group (more commonly known as Skymark Research) and its director John Bruce Kirk;
- Skymark Research employees Amanda Balak, Dylan Elash, Darya Fitsko, Benjamin Thompson Kirk, Josh Kostynuik, Kevin Mix, Chandara Mom, Anthony Parker, and Sally Taylor;
- Calgary-based Momentum Consultants and its director Dylan Leslie Boyle;
- Tradeshow Marketing Company (OTC symbol: TSHO); and
- Pacific Blue Energy (OTC symbol: PBEC).
The Interim Cease Trade Order is effective until September 4, 2010 and prohibits all trading in the securities of Tradeshow Marketing Company and Pacific Blue Energy. Skymark Research, Momentum Consultants, their directors and their employees are also prevented from trading in or advising in any securities, or disseminating to the public any information or materials of any kind regarding the securities of any issuer.
ASC staff have made allegations set out in a Notice of Hearing that Skymark Research, Momentum Consultants, their directors and employees all acted as advisors in securities without proper registration and made prohibited representations about the shares of Tradeshow Marketing Company and Pacific Blue Energy. ASC staff also allege that Skymark Research, Momentum Consultants, their directors and employees have engaged in and are engaged in prohibited transactions regarding the shares of Tradeshow Marketing Company and Pacific Blue Energy.
The next appearance in this matter is scheduled for 9 a.m. September 2, 2010 in the ASC Hearing Room on the 6th floor, 300-5th Ave SW, Calgary, Alberta. At that time, an ASC panel will consider extending the interim order.
