ASC extends suspension of Frank Capital Partners' registration
CALGARY, March 9, 2012 /CNW/ - The Executive Director of the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) has extended the registration suspension of Frank Capital Partners Inc., an Exempt Market Dealer. Frank Capital Partners' registration is suspended until a hearing has been held to determine whether to re-instate or terminate its registration. A date has not been set for this hearing.
Frank Capital Partners consented to the continued suspension as it attempts to address the ASC's concerns and correct its deficiencies. Frank Capital Partners and its individual sales representatives remain prohibited from carrying on the activities of a registered dealer of securities.
Investors should not deliver money for securities or investment purposes to Frank Capital Partners while the suspension order is in effect. Anyone who has concerns about Frank Capital Partners is asked to contact the ASC Public Inquiries Office at 403-355-4151 or 1-877-355-4488.
