ASC issues Interim Order against Shane David Yawrenko and Umbrella entities
CALGARY, Aug. 19, 2016 /CNW/ - The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) has issued an Interim Order against Umbrella Merchant Services Inc., Umbrella Media Outdoor Inc., and Shane David Yawrenko (Yawrenko), all from Edmonton.
The Interim Order prohibits all trading in securities of Umbrella Merchant Services Inc. Yawrenko and the named entities are also prohibited from trading in all securities and using any Alberta securities laws exemptions (with limited exceptions for Yawrenko).
The Interim Order is in effect until any proceeding arising from an investigation into this matter is finally determined or otherwise concluded.
Anyone who has been contacted by or on behalf of any of the named parties is asked to contact the ASC Public Inquiries Office at 1-877-355-4488 or [email protected]. Investors are cautioned against sending money to any of the named parties while the Interim Order is in place.
