Associated Engineering to be recognized as 2012 Technical Employer of the Year
EDMONTON, March 22, 2012 /CNW/ - The Association of Science and Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET) will recognize outstanding contributions to technology at their annual Awards Gala with Associated Engineering receiving the Technical Employer of the Year Award. The event is taking place in Edmonton at the Sutton Place Hotel on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 6:30 pm.
"The ASET awards provide an opportunity to showcase our members and technical employers who are judged by their peers as being at the top of their field," says Barry Cavanaugh, ASET CEO.
The ASET Technical Employer of the Year Award is presented to an employer for their outstanding contribution to technology and recognizes organizations that excel at supporting, promoting, utilizing and rewarding technicians and technologists.
Associated Engineering has provided consulting engineering services for over 60 years. With over 850 staff, they specialize in the water, transportation, infrastructure, environmental sciences, buildings, energy, and asset management sectors. Their engineering services range from planning and feasibility studies to detailed design, construction, training, and operational assistance. They have participated in world-class projects in Canada and around the world, for both public and private sector clients. Recognized as an industry leader, they have received local, national, and international awards for engineering services. For the past four years, Associated Engineering has also been selected as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies.
