Assembly of First Nations and Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations to
hold Joint Press Conference on First Nations University of Canada

SASKATOON, March 24 /CNW Telbec/ - Assembly of First Nations National Chief Shawn A-in-chut Atleo and Saskatchewan Regional Chief Guy Lonechild will hold a joint press conference at TCU Place - Arts and Convention Centre on Wednesday, March 24th at 12 p.m. to update media on recent progress concerning the First Nations University.

The press conference will take place during the AFN National Policy and Planning Forum, being held March 24th-26th in Saskatoon. The National Policy and Planning Forum will promote dialogue on key issues including education, environment, governance and citizenship. The National Chief will deliver opening remarks at the Forum in the main plenary at Centennial Hall A/B at 9:00 am, March 24.
