Astral Media Inc. announces payment of semi-annual dividend

MONTREAL , Dec. 14 /CNW Telbec/ - The Board of Directors of Astral Media Inc., (TSX: ACM.A/ACM.B) at a meeting held on December 9, 2009 , declared a semi-annual dividend of twenty-five cents (25 cents) per share on the Class A Non-voting Shares and the Class B Subordinate Voting Shares of the Corporation payable February 2, 2010 to the shareholders of record at the close of business on January 19, 2010 .

Astral Media Inc. designates this dividend to be an eligible dividend pursuant to subsection 89(14) of the Income Tax Act and its equivalent in the provincial jurisdictions of Canada .
