ATB Money Market Fund to wrap up in March

EDMONTON, Sept. 17 /CNW/ - ATB Investment Management Inc., as trustee and manager of the ATB Money Market Fund (the "Fund"), today announced it intends to terminate the Fund on or about March 31, 2011.

Effective the close of business (4:00 pm MST) on or about January 14, 2011, no additional purchases of units will be accepted into the Fund. Any distributions will continue to be re-invested in additional units of the Fund, except where the unitholder has instructed otherwise.

Unitholders will have the right to redeem securities of the Fund up to the close of business on or about March 31, 2011.

Unitholders of record of trust units of the Fund as of the effective date of termination will receive their proportionate share of the property and assets of the Fund (less any amount retained by the trustee for costs, charges and expenses).

Unitholders will not be required to pay any charges or fees associated with the termination of the Fund.

In accordance with securities legislation, notice will be sent to unitholders of the Fund no less than 60 days prior to the effective date of the termination.

Unitholders are encouraged to speak to their financial advisor to discuss their investment options.

The change will not affect the Compass Conservative Portfolio, Compass Conservative Balanced Portfolio, Compass Balanced Portfolio, Compass Balanced Growth Portfolio, Compass Growth Portfolio or Compass Maximum Growth Portfolio (collectively the "Portfolios"). This change has no impact on the investment objectives of the Portfolios.
