Atkinson Foundation Announces Interim Executive Director
TORONTO, March 5, 2012 /CNW/ - It is with regret that we inform you that Olivia Nuamah, Executive Director and Secretary to the Board of the Atkinson Charitable Foundation, has announced that effective immediately she is leaving the Foundation following nearly 18 months of leadership.
In her absence, Christine Avery Nuñez has been named Acting Executive Director effective immediately, pending the appointment of a new full-time director. Prior to her new appointment, Ms. Avery Nuñez had served as Managing Director of the Foundation, where she has worked for 16 years.
Ms. Nuamah began her appointment at the Foundation on September 7, 2010. Before joining the Foundation, she had held senior roles within government and the non-profit sector in the United Kingdom over the previous 15 years. Ms. Nuamah and her family have decided to return to the United Kingdom.
The Board of Directors of the Atkinson Charitable Foundation would like to thank Ms. Nuamah for her service and wishes her well.
