Atlantic Canadian Law Firm, Stewart McKelvey, Named one of Canada's 50 Best Employers

HALIFAX, Nov. 6, 2014 /CNW/ - Stewart McKelvey, a preeminent Atlantic Canadian law firm with six offices across four provinces, has been named one of the top 50 Best Employers by global HR consulting firm, AON Hewitt. The ranking - which this year surveyed 259 organizations, including eight law firms – measures employee engagement by exploring employees' commitment to staying with an organization, saying great things about their organization, and striving to excel within the organization, along with 21 other indicators.

In 2014, Stewart McKelvey exceeded the average score of participating law firms and the Canadian national average due, in part, to the firm's commitment to:

In addition to highlighting areas of excellence, the AON Hewitt survey results also highlighted potential areas of growth the firm is working diligently to explore through the continued use of facilitated focus groups and public forums for input.
