ATN reports net profit of $1.2 million on revenues of $16.1 million and
declares special dividend
TORONTO, April 22 /CNW/ - Asian Television Network International Limited ("ATN" or the "Company") (TSX-SAT), announced today that the Company's Net Earnings as at December 31 2009 were $1,203,089 on total revenues of $16,051,522. To accompany this great news, the Company is pleased to announce that its board of directors has approved the payment of a special one time dividend of $0.01 per share payable to holders of common shares of record as of May 5, 2010. This dividend on the Company's common shares is payable on May 18, 2010. This special one time dividend declaration is in light of the Company's profitability in 2009 and the significant progress made in reducing its long term debt.
