CAMBRIDGE, ON, Dec. 29, 2020 /CNW/ - ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc. (TSX: ATA) ("ATS" or the "Company") today announces the closing of its private offering of US$350 million aggregate principal amount of Senior Notes due 2028 (the "Notes"). The Notes were issued at par, bear interest at a rate of 4.125% per annum and mature on December 15, 2028. ATS intends to use the net proceeds from the offering of the Notes to fund the redemption of its outstanding 6.500% Senior Notes due 2023 (the "Existing Notes") on or about January 13, 2021, and to use the remainder of the net proceeds for general corporate purposes.
