AJAX, ON, July 23, 2013 /CNW/ - Audi Canada pulled out all the stops to launch their Audi Health Check program this summer.
In the spirit of Audi Top Service, a unique courtesy shuttle experience was orchestrated for a few out-of-warranty owners who booked a service appointment. Released today, the video features the 2014 Audi R8 V10 Plus Coupé, equipped as an authentic German EMS (Emergency Medical Services) vehicle.
"Like most dealerships, Audi offers a shuttle ride to work when you drop off your car for service," says Roehl Sanchez, EVP Chief Creative Officer of BIMM, the agency involved. "To promote the Audi Health Check program, we outfitted a R8 like a German EMS vehicle - complete with lights and sirens - and surprised some unsuspecting Audi owners with an unforgettable ride."
Jean-Philippe Michaud, Manager Parts and Service Marketing at Audi Canada says the intent of the video is to "show a service level that not only delights Audi owners, but also demonstrates our level of commitment to them, regardless of the age of their vehicle. This type of unexpected gesture from Audi is exactly what our customers should expect when they choose to visit our Audi dealers for their vehicle maintenance needs."
Some owners are tempted to find alternate solutions for repairing their Audi once the vehicle's original warranty expires. The Audi Health Check program gives dealers a way to extend their regular relationship with these owners. "Beyond the fact that Audi technicians receive the latest factory training," says Michaud, "our dealers provide a premium service experience that is unmatched by any after-market repair shop."
Offered twice a year, the Audi Health Check program gives all out-of-warranty owners a complimentary 30-point vehicle inspection and six months of Audi roadside assistance at no charge.
Audi Health Check runs July 15 to September 15, 2013. Visit www.audihealthcheck.ca for more information about the program.
