TORONTO, Oct. 16, 2018 /CNW/ - The Aurora Winter Festival announced today details on the new holiday experience taking place at Ontario Place from Thursday, November 29 to Sunday, December 30, 2018. The 24-day festival, presented in partnership with the Canadian National Exhibition, is the first of its kind in the Toronto market. The festival will feature enchanting elements inspired by the North Pole including magical characters, captivating light displays, endless fun, games and activities.
With a growing demand for events and activities during the holiday season, there are few that truly entertain both adults and children in an easily accessible and affordable way. The festival, located in the heart of Toronto, will be close to TTC and GO services and provides ample access to parking. Tickets start at $14.99 and go on sale at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 18.

The Aurora Winter Festival will offer a wide selection of attractions that will transform Ontario Place into the ultimate winter wonderland. Highlights will include an outdoor ice-skating pond; 50-foot LED light dome programmed with flowing Aurora lights; Santa's workshop, where children will engage in creative crafts and see St. Nick himself; carnival rides; a tube park with a 170-foot-long slide covered in artificial snow; and Main Street, lined with over 50 Christmas-inspired market vendors.
Presale tickets will go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday, October 17th) from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the general sale will start at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 18th.
