Auto Enthusiasts Support Children's Wish with a Chance to Win a Custom Harley Davidson
VANCOUVER, June 4, 2015 /CNW/ - Drafting on the success of the #JoeysWish campaign, which saw supercar enthusiasts raise over $60,000 for The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada, the wish granting organization continues to benefit from high-profile automotive supporters.
"We are so excited to once again be the charity of choice for the APNA truck show," says Hannah Smith, Development Coordinator for Children's Wish. "APNA has generously donated partial proceeds of previous events to Children's Wish and this year we will be on site at the tradeshow sharing the magic of wishes. "
Entry to the tradeshow is free, and guests of all ages are welcome. Those 19 years and older with a valid class 5 driver's license can enter to win a custom 2015 Harley-Davidson Street 750 from Barnes Harley-Davidson.
The APNA Truck show takes place on June 13th & 14th at Abbotsford Tradex. The weekend includes a job fair and show & shine, where visitors will have a chance showcase their special vehicles, ranging from customized big rigs to classic cars and motorcycles.
A Children's Wish family has been invited to join as the guest of honour at the VIP dinner on Saturday, June 13th. The VIP dinner and reception will be MC'd by Sonia Beeksma of GlobalNews.
"The APNA Truck Show is all about community. We're committed to being leaders in the trucking industry and in philanthropy. 'Apna' translates to 'ours' and that's exactly what this event is all about – a show that everyone can enjoy. We want to inspire our exhibitioners, members and participants to join in on our goal of raising $25,000 for The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada," said Tony Arora, Director of Sales & Marketing for APNA.
