The Government of Canada awards $380,000 in funding to this Matapédia Valley company
SAYABEC, QC, Feb. 15, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
Located in Sayabec, Automation D'Amours is a fast-growing company specializing in robotics, industrial automation and instrumentation. To support its growth, the company was awarded a $380,000 repayable contribution from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions. With the help of this financial assistance, Automation D'Amours, which develops and manufactures innovative technologies, will be able to increase its productivity and develop new products.
The funding was announced today by Rémi Massé, Member of Parliament for Avignon–La Mitis–Matane–Matapédia, and Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions. The Government of Canada's assistance allowed the company to expand its plant and acquire an overhead crane and robots with cameras. Over $950,000 were invested in the project.
Since its creation in 1995, Automation D'Amours has made a significant contribution in terms of enhancing its clients' performance and profitability. The company stands out for its innovative designs and the use of the latest technologies.
