Avcorp announces appointment of two new General Managers for its Delta and Gardena operations
VANCOUVER, Sept.10, 2018 /CNW/ - Avcorp Industries Inc. (TSX: AVP) (the "Company", "Corporation", "Avcorp" or the "Avcorp Group") announces the appointment of Cedric Savineau as the General Manager for its Delta facility.
Cedric Savineau has over 20 years of international experience in the transport sector, heading up major programs, product development, and manufacturing organizations. He is passionate about driving innovation, transformation & performance, by creating an inclusive work environment with the teams, and collaborative partnerships with suppliers and customers.
The Company also announces the appointment of Tony Kelsey as the new General Manager of its Gardena facility.
Tony Kelsey has joined Avcorp as the new General Manager effective September 4th, 2018. Tony is an aerospace and defense leader, with over 25 years of experience in operations leadership as a Program Manager, VP, Group VP, and President. Tony has an extensive back ground in Lean Manufacturing combined with experience in operational financial challenges in manufacturing environments. Prior to joining Avcorp, Tony has lead operations in Goodrich Aerostructures, Ducommun Aerostructures, and Esterline.
Tony replaces Jim Renaud who has left the company effective August 31, 2018. The Company would like to thank Jim Renaud for his contributions and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
