EDMONTON, May 8, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The Awards Gala of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) took place the evening of Monday May 7 at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. Sponsored by Caterpillar and its Canadian dealers, this gala, held annually as part of the CIM Conference & Exhibition, honours leaders that are integral to the sustainability of the mining and minerals industry. Awards were presented to 40 individuals and organizations for their remarkable contributions to and achievements in the sector.
