When: Sunday September 12th, 2010, at 9:30 a.m. </pre> <p>The B&O Yorkville Run is a community initiative that will unite local runners and businesses to compete and have fun while supporting an important local charity, the YWCA Elm Centre.</p> <p/> <p>Not your average run, participants will have the chance to win cash and prizes including <span class="xn-money">$1,000</span> for first place, <span class="xn-money">$500</span> for second place, <span class="xn-money">$250</span> for third place, Biom shoes by ecco, and gift certificates to Yorkville's hottest restaurants and hotels. All runners will enjoy a morning warm up, hair touch ups by Blo Blow Dry Bar after the race, a post-race breakfast by Cantine Bar & Grill, Black Camel and Crepes a GoGo, and a chance to run alongside celebrities in town for TIFF.</p> <p/> <p>"This run exemplifies the ways in which <span class="xn-location">Toronto</span> is coming together to improve our city. A home for women with low incomes and their children, women living with mental health issues and Aboriginal families, this <span class="xn-money">$80-million</span> development will ensure residents have the resources and support they need to maintain their housing and flourish.</p> <p/> <p>Environmentally sustainable - with geothermal heating and cooling, green roofs and rooftop gardens - Elm is the only development of its kind in <span class="xn-location">Canada</span>.
