Bank note event: Bank of Canada Governor Stephen S. Poloz and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance Ginette Petitpas Taylor Français
OTTAWA, April 4, 2017 /CNW/ - On Friday, 7 April 2017, Governor Stephen S. Poloz and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance Ginette Petitpas Taylor will unveil the Canada 150 commemorative bank note.
At the conclusion of the event, members of the media will have an opportunity to meet with experts to find out more about the theme and various security features of the commemorative note, which will be available to press photographers and TV crews at the expert kiosks.
For security reasons, all media must register with the Bank in advance to attend either the national ceremony or regional opportunities. Broadcast media and still photographers will be allotted space on a first-come, first-served basis, through advance registration.
