Bank note event: Bank of Canada issues $10 bank note celebrating the 150th anniversary of Confederation Français
OTTAWA, May 30, 2017 /CNW/ - On Thursday, 1 June 2017, the Bank of Canada will hold an event to mark the entry into circulation of the Canada 150 commemorative bank note.

Interview opportunities: |
After the event, members of the media will have an opportunity to interview representatives of the Bank of Canada, Parks Canada and Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (SÉPAQ) to find out more about the theme, graphic elements and security features of the commemorative note. |
Tour: |
A guided tour of the national historic site will be offered to members of the media after the event. |
Bank note exchange: |
Commemorative bank notes will be available on-site for purchase by members of the media in attendance (limit: one note per person). Only cash purchases will be accepted. There will be no provisions for debit or credit transactions. |
